Disneyland is Hiring New Princes and Princesses!

Dreams really do come true. In honour of Disneyland Paris’ 25th Birthday celebrations, Disneyland Paris have decided they need to up their character game and are heading to the UK to find some new talent. Along with all-singing all-dancing additions to the iconic parades, Disneyland Paris is also looking for Brits who are happy to dress up as princes and princesses and greet visitors throughout the park.

It’s likely that at some stage in your life you’ve dreamt of becoming a Disney prince or princess. Thanks to the magic of Disney this dream could actually become a reality and you could soon be popping on Cinderella’s glass slippers!

So how do we sign up? Disney are travelling to Leeds and holding auditions on Sunday 10 September. An advert on their website reads:

“We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic people to animate the famous Disney® characters. If you have a good level of dance, you can participate in our parade and our cavalcades! We are also looking for people who look like our famous Disney® Princesses and Princes to meet our visitors on a daily basis.”

Sounds good so far, so what else is there? There are certain criteria that need to be met. All applicants must be aged 18 or over and able to speak fluent English or French. You must be between 4ft 5ins and 6ft 3ins tall and “a good level of dance” is also required. If successful, positions start in October and are for a minimum of four months.

So what are you waiting for? Auditions begin at 10am at Yorkshire Dance Centre. For more information, click here.
