Delicious Homemade Strawberry Margaritas
- 450g strawberries, hulled
- 240ml silver tequila
- 160ml fresh lime juice
- 120ml honey
- 60ml Cointreau
- To serve: ice, salt to rim the glasses, strawberries or lime slices for garnish
Add strawberries, tequila, lime juice, honey, and Cointreau to a blender.
Blend until completely smooth. Let the mixture rest for about 5 minutes, then skim off the foam on top.
Run a lime wedge around the top of each glass. Then dip the top of the glass upside-down in a bowl of margarita salt.
Fill up each glass about half full with ice, then pour the margaritas over the ice and serve immediately.
Garnish the glasses as desired.
