The Super Easy Way to Make Your Own Bronzer
We love trying our hand at making our own beauty products. It’s usually pretty fun and you know exactly what is in it. It’s a great alternative if you’re vegan or have allergies. Today, I’m going to show you how to make your own homemade bronzer/blush, it’s a fail safe recipe that I’ve used many times over the years. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
Budget Homemade Option: Natural bronzer and blush can be easily made with a base of arrowroot and by adding more cocoa powder and cinnamon to get an increasingly darker shade. You can also try adding powdered dried beet root or dried hibiscus flowers to the the mix to get a pretty pink tone which works well as long as you can very finely powder them. Store your homemade bronzer in a shaker make-up container or an old compact.
Luxury Homemade Option: For a slightly more luxurious and longer lasting homemade option, use zinc oxide powder (non nano and uncoated) as a base instead of arrowroot, add cocoa powder and a pink hued mica powder to get the desired colour.
Wow – very clever, i’m sure a home made bronzer is much better for your skin. Sounds amazing! xx
Back to nature, perfect.
