Review & Giveaway: The Wood Shack Shabby Chic Solid Wood Coat Rack
I’m super excited to be featuring a brand I’ve recently discovered, The Wood Shack. The Wood Shack stock the most beautiful bespoke interior products, design and homewares.
These elegant shabby chic style coat racks are ideal for all homes and make brilliant gifts. Each set of hooks are hand cut, sanded, oiled and painted in their work shop in the Yorkshire Wolds. The oil they use leaves a high quality dark oak coloured finish, they use winter grey chalk paint for these to give a real rustic, antique feel.
The coat hooks are made with high quality solid wood (they don’t use reformed wood). These are hand sanded to leave a brilliant rustic finish.
They only use the best and heaviest antique style hooks, these will not bend, buckle or crack.
The coat racks are supplied fully assembled with all fittings (screws/wall plugs). The mounting holes are pre-drilled behind the outer two hooks, this means all screws are hidden from view once the coat rack has been mounted.
Here is where handmade excels – there’s no need for an upgrade as it is perfect already. Even if it’s one of a series, each one will be slightly different from the next. It’s the minute imperfections that make it so desirable. If you own a handmade, unique piece of work then only you in the whole world own it. The dimensions of the rack are (depth) 119mm, (height) 200mm, length is dependent on the number of hooks, of which you can choose the number. They offer bespoke coat racks of any size.
