Homemade Apricot Nectar Iced Tea


  • 1 litre of water
  • 5 tea bags
  • 200g sugar
  • 180ml lemon juice, fresh
  • 340ml apricot nectar


  1. In a pan, bring 475ml of water to the boil, then remove from the heat and steep the 5 tea bags for about 10 minutes. Once the tea has steeped, remove the tea bags. Set aside.
  2. In another pan, bring 240ml of water and the sugar to a simmer over medium heat, stirring constantly until the sugar has dissolved. Allow to cool for around 10 minutes.
  3. In a large jug, mix together steeped tea, the sugar mixture, lemon juice, apricot nectar, and the remaining water.
  4. Chill in the fridge for 4 hours, or serve straightaway over ice.
  5. Enjoy!
