Homemade Apricot Nectar Iced Tea
Ingredients
- 1 litre of water
- 5 tea bags
- 200g sugar
- 180ml lemon juice, fresh
- 340ml apricot nectar
Method
- In a pan, bring 475ml of water to the boil, then remove from the heat and steep the 5 tea bags for about 10 minutes. Once the tea has steeped, remove the tea bags. Set aside.
- In another pan, bring 240ml of water and the sugar to a simmer over medium heat, stirring constantly until the sugar has dissolved. Allow to cool for around 10 minutes.
- In a large jug, mix together steeped tea, the sugar mixture, lemon juice, apricot nectar, and the remaining water.
- Chill in the fridge for 4 hours, or serve straightaway over ice.
