Why Every Nursery Needs a Kub Haywood Glider Nursing Chair & Footstool
This comfy glider chair is perfect for reading to little ones with its spacious 55.5cm wide seat. As you probably already know. Rocking chairs are super popular among parents, because sitting in a rocking chair seems to have a calming effect, especially on a crying baby. The more popular version of a rocking chair today is the glider, favoured increasingly in modern nurseries. These comfortable gliders go beyond their function in the nursery and can easily fit in with any decor. Finished off in a natural wood colour and softly upholstered, the Haywood chair’s bow-back design has been ergonomically designed to help with your posture. With convenient side pockets on the arm and a matching footstool, upholstered in a beige finish, this glider chair combines comfort and practicality.
The Haywood glider’s spacious 55.5cm seat and soft upholstery are designed to offer you maximum comfort when feeding or relaxing with baby. The generous seat of the nursing chair is designed to accommodate an adult holding an infant. The footstool is also cushioned for comfort. This chair is so comfy. Even friends without babies want one once they sit in it! The Haywood glider nursing chair by Kub Nursery is spacious, comfortable and the perfect place for feeding your baby or just relaxing in the nursery with a smooth and gentle rocking motion. Made from solid wood and upholstered with a soft cream-coloured fabric, the Haywood glider comes complete with a matching rocking footstool. The Haywood glider and footstool are available in a natural and white finish with beige upholstery; the warm, stylish design makes a great addition to any nursery.
The only downside to this is that it does take up quite a bit of room with the foot stool, so just check you have enough room in the nursery. The pockets are great for bottles, books, etc. It rocks very nicely, it has an adjustable back and rocking footstool. It’s comfy, big enough to hold your baby and rest your arms and the rocking motion helps to calm.
The chair itself is super easy to assemble with clear instructions. The cushioning is more than ample and very comfortable even over an extended period of time. The gliding motion is smooth with no squeaks whilst rocking. The footstool’s height compliments the seating position perfectly. The Kub Haywood glider and footstool set have firm cushions with ties and poppers. The beige upholstery will go well with any nursery theme. Additionally, the nursing chair will also coordinate with other rooms in your home, especially when you no longer need the glider in the baby’s room.
I especially love the pockets at the side of the armrest. Pockets on each arm are extremely useful for keeping cloths and water etc. The product is good value for money. However, the smell of the fire-proof treatment on the fabric was very overpowering when new. The manual states correctly that this smell disappears with time. But it took a few weeks before the smell went away.
If you’re on a budget, you won’t find anything else similar for this price. The size is great, not too big for small nurseries and my 6’4″ husband still finds it comfortable. It did take a week or two for the padding to settle in, but it’s very comfortable now. Sitting position is quite upright – perfect for nursing and holding baby.
