I’m so excited to talk to you today about Fogelberg watches. As a bit of a watch enthusiast, I’ve had my eye on them for a while. I absolutely adore their range of styles and the entire ethos behind the brand itself, you can tell that the driving force behind Fogelberg design is out of love for the beauty, strength and durability of nature. Fogelberg design is aiming to be simple yet magnificent and durable and in my opinion it has most certainly hit the mark.
I love the simple luxury style of the Standard Sanford 40mm Rose Gold watch, it’s the exact look I’ve been after for a while. I feel as though I’ve been on a real watch journey this past year and my tastes have dare I say it, matured. The year started off with me wearing an Apple watch, but I just could not get along with it. To be perfectly frank, I just don’t want to be contactable all of the time. I wear an inexpensive quartz watch for everyday use as their accuracy can’t be beaten and it doesn’t matter if they get damaged. I’m not particularly careful and they get scruffy after a while so I have a premium make mechanical Swiss watch for best evening wear and special occasions. I decided I needed something in between, a nice looking but not too expensive watch for general evening wear and weekends and this beautiful Fogelberg fitted the bill. It might not have a Swiss ETA movement but it’s Japanese movement is very well thought of.
The watch looks a lot more expensive than it actually is. As far as durability goes, I can’t comment on the quality of the gold plating as I haven’t had the watch long enough, but it certainly looks very attractive. Ultimately I was looking for something of a vintage style with a modern twist and I think that the Sanford with its rose gold case does just that.

It’s clear that Fogelberg watches are crafted carefully from the best materials with attention for every detail for any “time of your day”. So far it’s keeping excellent time. It sits well on my wrist and is very comfortable to wear. Honestly, the fit and finish is flawless. I have checked it thoroughly with a magnifying glass and everything is perfectly aligned, as are all the face markings. The sapphire glass (scratch resistant), quality Japanese quartz movement and stainless steel 316L watch case all come together to make this a quality investment piece that is also bang on trend.
