Organised Family Life Hacks – Part 10, 2019
Planning ahead and doing a little bit at a time leaves a lot more time to enjoy yourself and just makes the general day to day running of life so much easier. You also can save money by being prepared through the year. Every Friday we’ll post a list of Organised Family Life Hacks that we’ve compiled over the years. - Put all of your shop loyalty cards on a key ring in alphabetical order – saves a huge bulky purse or hunting round for them floating round your handbag. They all live together in one pocket and are easy to find.
- You don’t need to make an effort for a birthday party until they are about 4. Until then you can get away with max 3 of your friends’ kids, a few games and a cake. I am always baffled by anyone making a big effort for a pre-schooler. Trust me, save your energy and ££ because in primary school, yes parties are a massive deal and you will be an empty husk by the end of them.
- Keep a bag of spares in the car. Our winter bag of gloves, scarves, hats has just been replaced with our summer bag of hats, sunglasses, suncream.
