I’m addicted to fragrance! I love the way I can completely transform my mood with a simple spritz. Traditionally, my favourite scents are very Autumn/Winter – Musk, Tobacco, Gourmand, but this year I really forced myself to appreciate the citrus aquatics around me. And I’m so glad that I did, I added the following five to my ever rotating fragrance wardrobe.
Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue
It’s light, lively and feminine. This fragrance provides a gorgeous perfume that’s both overwhelming and irresistible, like the joy of living. The flacons for Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue are impeccable fusions of classicism and modernity. A dazzling sky blue cap sits aloft sleek, frosted glass, set in vivid Mediterranean blue boxes. It’s a perfect vacation scent! Its top notes are Sicilian citron and apples and its heart is Jasmine, freesia, musk, amber. Divine.
Mirroring the Gucci Woman`s confident persona, the fragrance is soft and intense at once. The duality is expressed with strong notes that resonate through the heart and base. Deep Sandalwood, heady Tahitian Vanilla and unique grey Amber accords strike a complementary contrast with the inherent femininity found in exotic floral notes of sensual Casablanca Lily, feminine Orange Blossom and delicate Ylang Ylang. The bottle`s powerful shape features boldly cut art deco-style glass facets juxta-posed against the curved, feminine cap and the pale blush scent inside.
DIPTYQUE L’ombre Dans L’eau Eau de Toilette
Like a glorious green riverside English garden, L’Ombre Dans L’eau is fresh and delicate, yet luscious, too. Amid the rustling of petals and fruit trees, roses blend with blackcurrant leaves in a bouquet that is heady, sensual and sophisticated. From the legendary French perfume house, Diptyque, L’Ombre Dans L’eau is worn and adored by both women and men. This warm and captivating fragrance is ideal for Summer evening wear.
La Perla Blue
A beautiful casual fragrance created by the nose of respected perfumer Olivier Polge that will attract compliments all day long. Blue Perfume by the house of La Perla is classified as a chypre floral fragrance that opens to dominant aromas of violet leaf. The 1995 fragrance has a heart made of a lovely blend of carnation and hyacinth which settles on a base of iris, patchouli and cedar. Fragrance Notes: Bergamot, Lemon, Violet Leaf Carnation, Hyacinth Cedar, Iris, Patchouli.
Eau de Cartier
This is such a luxurious creation for her, to be worn unreservedly, generously, naturally. A different form of seduction. A kaleidoscope of sensations—fresh, soft, and full of vibration. Based on aromatherapy but not classified as such. It certainly is a paradox. The notes that are the most prominent to me are Yuzu, Bergamot, Violet Leaves and Flowers, Musk, Lavender, Cedarwood, Patchouli and Amber.
