Our Favourite Beauty Products Under £5

Social media takes no prisoners when it comes to beauty. And if a product doesn’t work, it will get raked over the coals. So whenever something gets universally-lauded—at a wallet-friendly price, no less—attention must be paid. Our glam squad shows you how to spend less and impress with beauty products under £5.

Our Favourite Beauty Products Under £5

Avon Skin So Soft Original Dry Oil Spray, £2.25

Non-sticky, non-greasy, great smelling and easy to apply. Apply it at night and your skin will feel baby soft in the morning. It’s also a great insect/mosquito repellent.

Barry M Satin Superslick Lip Paint, £4.99

These are my favourite. I feel like I can’t adequately explain just how creamy and pigmented these lipsticks are. Truffle Shuffle is the perfect my lips but better nude and the glossy finish makes my lips look fuller than they really are. This is our star buy for beauty products under £5.

The Ordinary Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres 2%, £4.90

This wallet-friendly brand offers skincare products that actually work, and this vitamin C serum is no exception. Over time it helps to reverse signs of skin ageing, whilst brightening and evening up the skin tone. We love it for fading stubborn pigmentation.

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer, £4.19

The best concealer – keep a tube in your bag and one on your desk. It’s just as good as some of the more expensive ones out there.

Avon MagiX Multi-Benefit Illuminator, £3.00

Amazing! I used to use a very expensive branded one but I’m really pleased and amazed with this concealer. It hides all my problems and also has a bit of a pearly glow to it so if you’re having a great skin day just a bit of this on your face gives you a dewy glow. It’s become a staple in my makeup bag.

Bleach London Louder Powder Eyeshadows, £3 each

These Bleach London eyeshadows are insanely good for such a low price. They’re pigmented, creamy, blendable and there are loads of shades to choose from. Move over MAC.

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder, £3.99

Having combination skin, I feel like I’ve tried all the face powders going. This one by Rimmel keeps that dreaded shiny T-zone at bay and doesn’t go all cakey on my face either.

Avon MagiX Prime and Set Spray, £3.00

Does exactly what it says. I have never come across a spray that sets your make up so beautifully. Apply before or after make up and it makes your Make up last all day. The amount of compliments I have received about my make up recently! This is one of the best beauty products under £5 you can get.

Rimmel 60 Seconds Super Shine Nail Polish, £2.99

Rimmel is one of my go-to nail brands. The choice of colour is amazing, the brushes are a great shape and size and they really do dry in 60 seconds and most shades only need two coats to be opaque. I find they last really well before chipping, too.
