Review & Giveaway: Cohorted – Black Edition Beauty Box
I’m super excited to be talking to you today about the black edition beauty box from Cohorted. We’ve collaborated with Cohorted in the past here, and I know that many of our readers are big fans of them too. Now, if you were ever in two minds about whether beauty subscription boxes were worth it, allow me to present to you the ultimate in luxury beauty subscription boxes. It’s £35.00 and in our November beauty box edit we received products worth £109! Each month’s box contains a secret curated selection of hand-picked beauty must haves, enclosed in an elegant all black exterior, and finished with a luxury hand tied bow.
Here’s what was in our November box:
Plum & Ashby – Honey & Jojoba Hand Cream, RRP: £15.00
A rich, long lasting and nourishing hand cream that will look after and moisturise dry skin. With extracts of corn poppy, plant butter and vitamin E, this hand cream is full of natural ingredients and essential oils. Light in texture and with a fragrant scent that lingers for hours, this hand cream is a real treat for your dry, hardworking hands. And it looks really attractive too, housed in a metallic tube with a simple and stylish label. Keep this hand cream in your handbag or next to the sink for instant hydration. Also, it’s a great idea as a gift for friends and family!
I have very dry hands during the Winter months, and I like hand creams to feel nourishing but not too heavy. This is actually harder than it sounds to achieve, but I really think this one gets it just right. My hands feel soft and moisturised, but there’s no stickiness, so I can get on with things straight away after using it without waiting for it to sink in. Lovely traditional feel to the labels and love the fact the natural ingredients and non animal testing is featured right at the top. It absorbed quickly leaving my hands feeling really soft and nourished but in no way greasy – I love it!!
NEW CID – I-Intense Mascara, RRP: £20.00
Separate, lift and lengthen your lashes in an easy sweep of this innovative fine bristle wand. Place the micro fine bristle brush at the roots of the lashes and wiggle slightly to add volume and fullness then brush through from root to tip for length and separation. Apply a second coat for additional drama and volume before the first dries completely. The double brush wand delivers superior lash separation whilst the volumising ingredients and flexible polymers plump up and lengthen every single lash.
Figs & Rouge – Flawless Canvas Balancing Primer & Colour Corrector, RRP: £35.00
Lightweight Soothing Complex to help Neutralise Redness & Blemish Marks; Figs & Rouge Colour Correcting, Oil-Free Gel Primer helps ensure a perfect base for make-up. With a unique double action anti-inflammatory formulation, Figs & Rouge Hydra-Prime Colour Corrector helps to minimise large pores & correct the appearance of blemishes.
Lancome – Visionnaire Advanced Multi Correcting Cream 5ml x 2, RRP £20.00
Visionnaire Advanced Multi-Correcting Cream is a daily moisturiser with a triple-correcting effect against: the appearance of unwanted wrinkles, lack of suppleness and dullness. For skin that feels softer and replenished with moisture. Apply every morning on clean skin after your usual cleansing routine. Use gentle pressure to push the moisturiser into the skin. Formulated with the LR2414 molecule and Hyaluronic Acid. The silky texture melts into the skin for a ‘second skin’ feel that nourishes skin with moisture.
Too Faced – ‘Melted’ Liquefied Longwear Lipstick 12ml, RRP £19.00
Get the staying power of a stain, the intense colour of a liquid lipstick and the high shine of a gloss in one longwear formula. Using exclusive technology to keep cauldrons of molten lipsticks liquid and creamy, ‘Melted’ liquified longwear lipstick comfortably coats lips in bursts of intense, high impact, super rich, saturated colour that lasts for hours. I love the melted lipsticks, they smell amazing and the applicator is soft and well designed. They stay on the lips for a long time, leave a nice stain behind, and the packaging is very pretty!

I can’t get enough of the Philip Kingsley Elasticizer at the moment! I just tried it for the first time. My hair is in need of some serious TLC, it’s heat damaged and dry with lots of frizziness and split ends. I only used it once so far but I can see and feel a difference! It’s even softer to the touch.
It’s simple but Nivea and e45 for my skin. I have a nerve disorder and winter causes me to have really dry skin and hives. Those products are a lifesaver xx
