How to Make Your Own Pumpkin Spice – Your Essential Autumn Ingredient

We’re well into September now so it’s perfectly acceptable to start Pumpkin Spicing everything! What better consolation is there for the fact that Summer is over? If you’re ever so slightly hooked on Pumpkin Spice Lattes, I’ve found a far more wallet friendly alternative is mixing up your own spice mix, but it doesn’t need to only be reserved for your caffeinated drinks. Pumpkin Spice is delicious in virtually all of your sweet Autumnal recipes (no judgments here), this fragrant blend is incredibly easy (and economical) to make at home.

Ingredients

3 tablespoons ground cinnamon

2 teaspoons ground ginger

2 teaspoons ground nutmeg

1 ½ teaspoons ground allspice

1 ½ teaspoons ground cloves

Method

Mix the spices together in a small bowl

Store the mixture in a clean small jar or spice container et voilà!
