Organised Family Life Hacks – Part 14
Planning ahead and doing a little bit at a time leaves a lot more time to enjoy yourself and just makes the general day to day running of life so much easier. You also can save money by being prepared through the year. Every Friday we’ll post a list of Organised Family Life Hacks that we’ve compiled over the years. If you have any of your own to add, please comment below. I’m really looking forward to seeing what you suggest!
- Another quick and easy way to cook dinner after a long day at work. Chicken breast, potatoes and veg all in the one oven tray. Cut chicken into strips to make sure it cooks through, chop potatoes really small and chop whatever veg you want and lay it in 3 fat rows on your tray. Add plenty of garlic, salt, pepper and some olive oil. Stick it in a preheated oven for half an hour. It’s a favourite in this house so I do this at least twice a week.
- Take a photo of your car reg for when you have to enter the reg number at parking pay machines and the car is 5 floors away.
- After a big shop, write down the use-by dates of perishables and stick the list on the fridge door.
- Freeze quartered lemons, limes, chopped ginger, breadcrumbs – anything needed in small quantities each time.
Loosing the car is a n8ghtmare – will remember if i take a photo
